I used an example from CF8 live docs... which actually has an error: http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/htmldocs/help.html?content=basiconfig_37.html ("setStringParameterAsUnicode" should be "sendStringParametersAsUnicode") myObj.setMSSQL(driver="MSSQLServer", name = "#newdsn#", host = "#databaseServerIP#", port = "1433", database = "#dbname#", username = "#databaseUID#", password = "#databasePWD#", login_timeout = 30, timeout = 20, interval = 7, buffer = 64000, blob_buffer = 64000, sendStringParametersAsUnicode = true, description = "", pooling = true, maxpooledstatements = 1000, enableMaxConnections = false, maxConnections = 0, enable_clob = false, enable_blob = false, disable = false, selectmethod = "direct", storedProc = true, alter = true, grant = false, select = true, update = true, create = true, delete = true, drop = true, revoke = false ); } I am setting Timeout = 20 and Interval = 7. The datasource gets created properly with all the other parameters specified, but these remain 0's.
