Hi,
I think we all have been in situtations where we are presenting some
prototype, and while we walk this through with the client, they get
focused and hung up on small details regarding a dummy graphic design
(that logo should be smaller!).
I have a vague memory of reading articles on A List Apart, and maybe in
Hal Helms' newsletter about this, for possible strategies - but it was
quite a while ago since I read about these things. I assume that there
have been more recent things... ?
Does anyone here have any favorite strategies, and any favorite recent
writings on the subject? Also to have the client feel ownership and
participation through all stages in the process.
For strategies, I wouldn't mind input on e.g. finalising the graphic
design before implementing all the backend/business logic or having
extremely simplified/barebones wireframes (and have the graphic design
being slapped on last).
/H.
