Thanks for your help and feedback, Matthew.

I've got TortoiseSVN installed and now I'm reading the
manual to find out what to do with it.

If it is useful to me as a "one man band", I'll probably
install it on Win XP eventually.  I've been wanting to tinker
with Virtual Machines anyway, and this seemed like a good opportunity.
