Probably a known IE CSS bug. If you are running IE6, and the form element which is obscuring your auto-suggest is a drop-down, there isn't a solution that I know of. Take a look at PIE: www.positioniseverything.net. They have a whole section on IE CSS bugs. This bug is resolved in IE7.
