Thanks.  Here's an update.  Finally and mysterially the CF8 installation went 
on the cf admin migration part, however, it hangs at Import part forever, 
rebooting etc, none has any effect, and none of the functions is clickable nor 
stoppable, very obsurd and weird.  Also, also Export is antonym of Import (same 
act from different perspective), why it would use two of them at the same time? 
 In other words, the process of Exporting, say, datasources from a previous CF 
installation is the same as Importing databases from a previous one...  

Another thing, most likely the CF Admin migration would look at some XML file 
to track status etc., so, if I manually update the XML file this process might 
be able to become "intelligent", to this end, I've browsed all the XML files 
under /cfide/administrator folder and subfolders, however, none (from their 
names) seems to suggest it's the config file...
