Actually, it's nothing like what is happening under the hood but is an
excellent and efficient alternative ;). The component uses a java object to
manipulate the xml and is surprisingly efficient (I spent many an hour
figuring ways to make it be so). Do check it out if you are curious, I think
it is a very pleasant way to deal with XML in CF.
