Whoa! This is a huge under taking. Accounting software is a huge pain in the ass. When I wrote and customized accounting software I had several developers and a CPA on my staff. If you don't have an accounting degree or a sh** load of accounting programming experience, you are probably not qualified to do this type of work regardless of your CF skills. Take your hands away from the keyboard and walk away slowly - don't make any sudden moves.
