Jayesh, Nate is talking about using FeedBurner to manage the feeds.
While CF can make feeds, a lot of bloggers use FeedBurner to handle
their feeds so that they can also get stats. I know I use it. You
still create your own feed, but then you point FB to it and direct
your visitors to the FB url. FB has an API. I've used it for stats
(and released code for it), but haven't used it for feed management.
Nate, it may help you anyway, so I'll share my url where I talk about
