Go ahead and write them. You have an advantage in writing those in that
you're much more aware of the challenges faced by someone moving up --
the areas where there is an informational gap or pitfall. If I were to
write them, I would probably omit many of the things that would make
yours valuable. And, with regard to leading people down the "wrong path",
I'd be willing to review them and let you know if I see any "red flags".
You might be able to get a few others here to review them also. That
would give you the kind of feedback you wouldn't get from say an editor
who often isn't a skilled practitioner.
