Agreed, I think you should handle as any errors that you can predict in your code. However, unexpected errors are nearly always going to happen in large or even medium apps so it is still good to have a custom error handler that says like 'Oops! The programmers are whack, sorry. Please try again'. I use cferror for this and it works a charm.
