I think Dave is trying to say that CFSchedule kicks off a CFHTTP request TO that script which has another complex CFFTP script going on. That's 2 points of failure (CFHTTP and then CFFTP) versus just automating this via machine and perhaps setting up a directory watcher to monitor a directory and do post processing.
