Unless you specifically need s feature of Excel, create the file as a .CSV
(comma separated values), it'll open in almost any spreadsheet.

Subject: Excel 2007

I created Excel file using coldfusion, but when i tried to view that excel
file in office 2007 i am getting this error ->

The file you are trying to open, 'filename.xls', is in a different format
than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted
and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open
the file now?

Please help me on this...
