Hi All,
I am aware of how BLOCKFACTOR works in CFQUERY and generally just throw =
it in to every query I write. However, in doing so, I realized that I =
was adding it to queries that can only return one row out of habit. Is =
this a potential performance hit?=20
Also, if I include MAXROWS=3D1, will the BLOCKFACTOR value simply be =
ignored, or does one have precendence over the other? Yet another =
question...if these are used with stored procedure calls, and my SPs =
explicitly limit results, how are the CF parameters (BLOCKFACTOR, =
MAXROWS) dealt with? Ignored?
Thanks,
Jim
