OK,
So our web server took a major dump because the person (who is no longer
here) that originally set it up totally screwed up the install (and he
did not leave because of this BTW). Fortunately we have a back up server
to switch the site to until the main one is repaired.
So now I have a fresh brand spanky new install of Windows Server 2003.
Now I know that some people prefer to install their site in the default
C:\Inetput\wwwroot directory, and that is where the site was originally
put. I hear others say that they prefer to create a different directory
on a different drive and then point IIS there, and install CF in that
location for security purposes. So what do you all recommend? What are
the pitfalls and advantages of each scenario? I already have our site
locked down pretty good regarding SQL injections, creating a specific
user account with limited access to the SQL Server and what not, just
looking for CF Server best practice.

Thanks,

Bruce
