Take a look at the cf_httpx custom tag. It has a lot of features that mirror cfhttp, but added features like sessions and cookie keeping. What I have found in the past is, you may have to use a session sniffer to show you what is sent to each page in their system and what is returned. You might be surprised how many pages are 'loaded' before you are actually logged into their service. For one solution that I had to create I ended up using both cfhttp and cf_httpx to make it work.
