Greetings, We recently upgraded our system from ColdFusion 6.1 to Coldfusion 8. For the most part things have been smooth, however we encountered an issue yesterday that I was hoping perhaps some folks may have some ideas about.
It appears that at some point JRun began consuming considerable CPU (90%). There are no significant errors in any of the logs. We were forced to restart the service and everything seems to be fine. We have ColdFusion installed as a single server. My questions are: 1. Has anyone experienced simular behavior in Coldfusion 8, and what did you do to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Furthermore, are there patches or configurations that folks have discovered as vital to a Coldfusion 8 instalation? 2. Any experience with Adobe support. what information will they require for a single incident and are they helpful. We have turned on alerts and snapshots in hope of capturing more information if this happens again.
