I'm working on a server with multiple instances of ColdFusion running on a Jrun4 installation. Sometimes this gets weird and I get one of the instances running under another one. This screen shot explains it better: http://tinyurl.com/2l73dy
You can see the "admin" instance is running under the "cfusion" instance. It should be running under a single jrunsvc process, like br1 and br2 are. When one of the instances gets like this, it is unresponsive. Possibly because it can't grab the memory its supposed to because its limited by what the parent instance is setup for. Has anyone ever seen this? I have to manually kill the process, then start it, usually from the services control panel to get it to come back correctly. It seems to be related to starting/restarting the instance from within the JRun administrator, but it doesn't happen all the time. -Ryan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:301947 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
