Here is my post to a tell me newsgroup. It is actually a CF question thoguh
so I thought I would post here.
OK I am closer now.
I can get it to record, playback and post. but when I try save the posted
contents I get a Cold Fusion error.
Basically when I branch to the "Make a Game Report" section. I load this
code.
<vxml>
<form id="RecordTest">
<record name="document.VoiceFile" maxtime="60" dtmfterm="true">
<prompt>
<audio>What's your beef cowboy?</audio>
</prompt>
<filled>
<audio> You said </audio>
<audio data="{document.VoiceFile}"/>
<submit next="http://www.rivercityhockey.net/vxml/record.cfm"
method="post" namelist="document.VoiceFile" />
</filled>
</record>
</form>
</vxml>
== Record.cfm ===
==============
<!--- parameters --->
<CFSET
LibraryDirectory =
"c:\www\voiceBook">
<CFSET IsOverwriteEnabled = "NO">
<!--- upload file with unique name --->
<CFFILE
action="UPLOAD"
fileField="document.VoiceFile"
destination="#LibraryDirectory#\"
nameConflict="MAKEUNIQUE"
>
<vxml>
<form id="test">
<block>
<audio>OK, the audio has been saved.</audio>
<goto next="http://www.rivercityhockey.net/vxml/vxml.cfm" />
</block>
</form>
</vxml>
=== should be good. but I get an error/
SO I create an HTML form page to test the application server posting.
<form action="record.cfm" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data">
<input type="file" name="document.VoiceFile">
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Go">
</form>
And I get a CF Error syaing it can't resolve document.VoiceFile. so I change
it to just VoiceFile and it works fine.
ie <input type="file" name="VoiceFile">
===
If I change all of the references to
document.VoiceFile I get a cf error.
just VoiceFile I get a tellme error.
catch 22.
Not sure how to proceed.
