and then make it distributable to virtually any web server platform (say, for windows, IIS (5x,6x,7x?); for unix/linux flavor, Apache).
Some of you may have thought of this or even have been there done that. Off my head, I'm thinking: a) the business function; b) a 'connector' to the target web server? Or better, if the web server is J2EE-compliant then it can execute CF code right away but how many web servers are at this level in the market now? a royal question...
