I recently upgrade my application from a Visual FoxPro database to and Oracle 10g database. I converted the foxpro memo fields to Oracle Clobs. Now my Verity Indexing doesn't work. The table contains only 5600 records with the largest CLOB containing approx 9K characters. The query works fine, but when Verity runs forever when it starts indexing the result set. Never had a problem with FoxPro, why would I have one with Oracle?
