Start by looking in your logs <coldfusionrootfolder>/logs/

Mail.log and mailsent.log are a good place to start.

Everyone really should be familiar with CF's logs. They are pure gravy
when you got a problem like this.

Subject: Problems with CF-MX Mailserver

Hi all,

i have a problem so send mails with the CF MX7. I have adapt the
Serverconnections in the CF-Administrator and have verified the server
connection. After the update the message "Connection Verification
Successful." will be produced but its not possible to send mails.
At any attempt a new error-file will be produced in /mail/undelivr/
which includes the full mail content.

Has anybody an idea how to fix this problem?
