Meghana, We found this issue a few days back with 8.0.1. This happens when you spool any email with attachments. You must be getting coldfusion.mail.MailSpooler$InvalidSpoolFileException. As a workaround you can disable spooling as suggested earlier <cfmail spoolenable="no" ....> .
Anyways it has been fixed and will be available as hotfix at earliest.
