James I get a number of CF's through, people claim many things on that nice bit of fiction that is called a CV.
When I get to choosing people for interviews, people with "Eclipse", Frameworks, version control etc etc will be getting through (well, not all the time) but at least it gives me an idea where their head is at for senior roles. Discrimination? NAY! Its like reading that they have used Access compared to MS SQL to me.
