You might not be able to change that, but that would only affect unhandled errors. You should have an error handling framework for your site: try/catch where appropriate to catch somewhat-expected runtime exceptions, onError/CFERROR to catch unexpected runtime exceptions, and CFERROR TYPE="REQUEST" to catch compiler errors.
