I'm just starting out with flex and trying to play video over rtmp. I've been googling for *hours* with no joy.
Can it be done with mx:VideoDisplay? Currently I am using the excellent JW media player @ http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=JW_FLV_Media_Player to play the stream and I supply it with 'file' (the FMS app scope url) and id (the subdirectory path to the flv). This all works great. I am using a 3rd party streaming host (no direct server access). However, I am completely lost coming into flex with this - any guidance would be hugely appreciated.
