Try the 64bit version of CF8.

I just installed CF8 64Bit Developer on my Mac Book Pro Intel Core 2  
Duo Intel 2.2Gz. Mine came with Leopard running Apache 2.2.8.  The  
installer ran perfectly. No issues.
