since you are using mysql db you can do this:

<cfquery name="insertquery" datasource="yourmysqldsn">
INSERT INTO yourtable
<cfoutput query="yourcfquery">
(col1, col2, col3, ...)<cfif yourcfquery.currentrow lt
yourcfquery.recordcount>,</cfif>
</cfoutput>
</cfquery>
