I'm not sure about training but I think Figleaf is supposed to be pretty good. I already know everything, so I'm kind of unfamiliar with it... ;)
As for discussion groups, Figleaf runs FlashCoders and there's a yahoo group for FlexCoders. Both are spectacular and are a huge resource when it comes to getting outside advice and direction.
