Yup - it's how CF's always worked AFAIK.

Honestly, it doesn't sound like you need SSO.  If these apps live on
the same server and share users, I would consider consolidating them
under one Application.cfc.  They can still look like different
applications to the end users, but honestly it's probably a faster
route to happiness.
