Let me qualify this upfront: I have very little experience with CF7 on OS X.
I do work with CF on Linux fairly often, though.

Are you sure it's not asking for the administrator/root password, or
whatever it's called on a Mac?

You should be able to simply delete the directory containing CF7 in most
cases. You may have references to CF7 in some initialization scripts; you
can edit those appropriately or simply ignore the errors they raise. If you
configured Apache to work with CF7, you can edit httpd.conf to remove the
CF/Jrun info.
