This is just a totally random idea that I am throwing out there: is it possible that the log file has reached the max size alloted for it in the CFAdmin?
Additionally, when you set up a max log file size in CFAdmin and allow log files to "rotate", for CFMX7, you must apply a hotfix to actually enable the rotation.
