This is just a totally random idea that I am throwing out there:  is it
possible that the log file has reached the max size alloted for it in the
CFAdmin?

Additionally, when you set up a max log file size in CFAdmin and allow log
files to "rotate", for CFMX7, you must apply a hotfix to actually enable the
rotation.
