As usual, I'll come from left field and say, what about abstracting
the new templates somehow?

Maybe just pull 'em in and cache it somewhere, and toss it in as a
variable or something?

I've had times where I had horrible templates to work with, and I'd
usually just turn them into functions so I wouldn't have to sweat it.
