Hello, I am having trouble setting up a connection from Coldfusion MX7 to SQL Server 2005.
After several hours of tinkering with settings that I know and searching the internet for the things I didn't, I found a very helpful guide to setting it up (here ---> http://www.fusioncube.net/index.php/coldfusion-sql-server-express ). That was a very good guide. However on of the last steps he says to do is to download a .jar driver so that cold fusion can make the JDBC connection, and he gives a link (http://www.fusioncube.net/index.php/%20http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=e22bc83b-32ff-4474-a44a-22b6ae2c4e17&displaylang=en) which doesn't work. He also says to put that file into a folder in my coldfusion directory that does not exist. I ended up tinkering around with it for about two hours and stopped when I couldn't figure out this error. Connection verification failed for data source: GTOTDsite java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver If any one has any ideas, let me know. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
