I really like the book "The Object Oriented Thought Process". While it's not specifically a Java book, it does walk you through the concepts of true OO and when they have code examples, they use Java.
Great book. Easy to understand, and the concepts are excellent. -----Original Message----- From: Will Tomlinson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, August 05, 2008 12:25 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: Java Book Recommendations? Gents, I've decided to pickup another language for my arsenal. I think it shall be Java. Do you have a good book recommendation for me? Keep in mind, all I know is CF. I have absolutely NO Java experience, other than a little mixture of the OO coding style in CF.
