Actually, there was a hotfix at one time for CF7 that also restored the 
cfprocparam order.  It was never part of the updater 1 or 2 and didn't 
appear to be part of 8 either.

And yes, if future versions of ColdFusion begin obeying dbvarnames, a lot of 
stuff will probably break if you did not keep the dbvarname attribute in 
synch with your proc parameters.
