Not too shabby, Pete. :) DataFaucet also provides cross-dbms support and gives you lots of ways to reuse and cut down on code, like the gateway search() method for giving your users and/or keyworded searches (like Google) across all text fields in any table. It's just gateway.search(phrase) = amazingly dynamic query result.
There's an article on the website about how I was able to remove about 600 lines of code from Ray Camden's Galleon forums using it. I believe it's at http://www.datafaucet.com/galleon.cfm -- although I've been doing some work on the sites today -- they're both hosted on the same account and I've been trying to make them both work in the root, so they may have been in and out hte past hour or 2. :) -- s. isaac dealey ^ new epoch isn't it time for a change? ph: 781.769.0723 http://onTap.riaforge.org/blog ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:311234 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
