Be careful when you say "newest". If I read it right, the newest
version, which is 2.6x, doesn't have drivers for desktop databases
any more. Someone please tell me if that's wrong. If I'm right,
download the latest 2.5 version. Here's the description from the
download page:
The MDAC 2.6 RTM redistributable installer installs the same Data Access core
components as Microsoft SQL Server 2000. This release does not include
Microsoft Jet, the Microsoft Jet OLE DB Provider, the Desktop Database
Drivers ODBC Driver, or the Visual FoxPro ODBC Driver.
