Here's a little bit of a pickle...

We're in the process of server upgrades, and we've made a few attempts
at installing CF8 on a Windows Server 2008 with IIS 7. The first
attempt didn't go over so well at all, and we ended up wiping the server
and starting from scratch again. We did some Google searches for
anything that we should know about installing under these conditions,
and found several places where it told us to make sure to install IIS6
Management Compatibility, along with a few other things, which we did.

A few problems have ensued at this point: (1) The IIS handler mappings
didn't install properly, and (2) The jRun DLL's were missing from the
INSTALL/runtime/lib/wsconfig directory (the handler DLL's themselves).
We were able to rectify these problems by finding some tutorials via
Google.

CF appears to be running now, as we were able to create a simple page
with "#dateFormat(now())#" wrapped in CFOUTPUT tags, and it outputting
the proper date, however, when we try to access the Admin panel, we get
an error saying only "The service is unavailable."

Any ideas as to what may be happening here? Or, if you've done installs
with these params, can you offer up any suggestions?

Cheers,

Steve
