We need to create a binary file and hope to do it in CF. Our source for the data is plain numbers and strings - ie. we have queried int and varchar columns from our db; we have no binary string to simply write out to file.
Has anyone done this before? I assume this would be reasonably straight forward in Java and am willing to make a cfc that wraps the functionality but I'm hoping it's been done!
