I would still recommend that you download and use the latest version
of CF, if you're developing on your own local machine. You might
consider doing this after completing your exercises with CF Express.
You should be able to complete all of the exercises, although you may
need to make minor changes to configuration settings, etc. Of course,
you'll need to figure out those settings on your own, but as a
developer you will need to learn how to learn things on your own!

It's the ANSI standard for SQL. ANSI is a standards organization, and
SQL is an industry standard; it's not owned or controlled by any one
vendor.

As a general rule, I'd recommend that you get into the habit of
submitting questions like that to Google. It'll take you less time
than submitting them to a list, and you'll get a more comprehensive
answer. I wouldn't normally mention that, but since you mentioned you
were an older gentleman I thought it might be a helpful thing to
mention. In this case, the first result in Google for SQL-92 is the
Wikipedia page:
