Just to briefly explain, I used SQL server to create sets of "LINKED QUERIES" in SQL Database (SQLL2K) which is an OLE DB data source in order to use OPENQUERY to get to my catalogued files linking them to items within my SQL Database, hence my reference to the type of database.
