On server A we have CF8 installed, also INFX 9, with 2 databases. We have 2 Data Sources defined to these databases - no problem the Data Source verifies without any problem.
We also have server B, with INFX, and another database. We define a Data Source to this database, but here is the problem: Connection verification failed for data source: icoretest java.sql.SQLException: Timed out trying to establish connection The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: Timed out trying to establish connection I now my settings are OK, if I change password or INFX login - I get different error message. Also, if I use dbaccess from server A to access the db on server B - no problem, using the same login/password as I use in CF. I changed the login timeout from 60 to 600 seconds - it still timesout! Why would I be timing out via CF, but not with dbaccess; any suggestions what else I can try?
