This may not help much, but I'll offer it up as a suggestion. If you
can't get Verity to index the PDF docs, consider my pdfUtils.cfc at
RIAForge. It has a utility function to get the text from PDF docs. You
could use that to get the text, then pass that to Verity for indexing.
