So, to clarify, you have at least two virtual servers, and each maps
to that directory?

Well, no, it doesn't. Generally, if there were a permissions issue
with IIS, the user would get a password prompt or a 401 error. And you
didn't list CF's permissions, so I'd assume that CF is running as
SYSTEM (the default) and therefore has permissions to everything.

Can you browse http://www.mydomain.com/CFIDE/ directly? That wouldn't
involve CF at all.
