Well, I think the calendaring functionality of Google Apps is as good as that of Exchange. And it appears as an Exchange server if you're using an ActiveSync client on your Windows Mobile phone. AD integration can be performed using the SSO functionality in Google Apps Premier Edition, if you're using the web interface as opposed to Outlook IMAP. We just migrated from Exchange to Google Apps Premier, and I've been exceptionally happy with the result. We're not doing AD integration, because we're small enough that we can get away without doing it.
