i am in the process of developing a color and brightness controller and was
wondering if anyone has any useful techniques out there?
Here is something I have begun working on, which uses an overlay of color to
control the balance:
READ IMAGE INTO MEMORY
<cfimage action="read" source="#expandpath('anyimage.jpg')#" name="myImage" />
TURN ON ANTI ALIASING
<cfset ImageSetAntialiasing(myImage,"on")>
SET TRANSPARENCY
<cfset ImageSetDrawingTransparency(myImage, 30)>
CREATE A COLOR OVERLAY
<cfset bkgd = imagenew('',myimage.width,myimage.height,'rgb','000000')>
OVERLAY
<cfset ImagePaste(myimage, bkgd, 0, 0)>
PREVIEW
<cfimage action="writetobrowser" source="#myImage#">
This technique is 'okay' and could produce worthy results if there were slider
controls for R,G,B and brightness.
Contrast seems to be the most difficult. I am not even sure where to begin
