Hey, Paul, long time no talk. A guy I work with just demo'd the Apache POI project recently. He was doing it for Excel 2007 formatting but it handles pretty much all Office programs. I think there is a limited version of this built into CF8 (not sure if you are using that) but depending on what functionality you need, you might need the newest full version. Check it out here:
