In all reality, the best thing I've seen on the subject is Sean Corfield's PDF preso - the first result in that google search. As far as getting into it and engaging in discussions and asking "am I doing this right?" type questions, you can ask here, but the ColdSpring mailing list is probably a better resource for that (http://coldspringframework.org).
