  I have to agree with Claude. I made a lot of money off of
connecting to Access since it was cheap and easy to deal with. It
was about all we had when I started (cf1.5). It isn't the best
one to use now days, but it really never let me down. Now I use
the industrial strength tools, but there is no need to bash it.
It still works pretty well for smaller sites, plus a lot of office
people who don't know DBMS find it easy to use.

  On a different subject, I would suggest saving the hash of the
password rather than the alphanumeric string, but that might not be
needed in your case.
