Ian, Control Panel => Programs and Features =>Web Management Tools => IIS 6 Management Tools
Make sure that WMI Compatibility and IIS 6 Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility are checked.. I am trying to get ColdFusion developer running on my new Windows Vista 64bit laptop. I downloaded and ran the installer and it ran with no errors, except for the web connector. I found information that I needed to turn on IIS6 compatibility features in the IIS7 set up. But when I run the web server connector tool, it still can not see the IIS default website. That field shows 'none' as the only option. I am finding there is very little information on this cutting edge (I guess) combination. I still haven't found how I even administer IIS7. I can find lots of stuff on why IIS7 is supposed to be so great and hot and why it is the best IIS yet.
